ROLDA's biggest accomplishment is saving lives and when possible -offering to the saved animals a secure and loving home !
Since the beginning of our work in animals' welfare ,we are continuously doing our best saving ,taking good care of , treating, spaying/neutering and give for adoption after recovery hundreds and hundreds of abused ,abandoned and homeless animals.
These are some of our achievements.
Initiated mass spay/neuter campaign in Galati .During this program over 3,000 dogs and cats were sterilized ,preventing in this way the born of other thousands and thousands unwanted animals!
Building and running 2 shelters in Galati area, one of them chosen the best, among others 16 from all over Eastern Europe -a US newspaper 'evaluation in 2004 ,May.The second facility-a modern Adoption Center- will offer beside animals sheltering ,social services for the local community (education center,veterinary clinic,...)
Convincing a major international corporation to approach differently the strays problem and invest in its solving !
Successfully initiated and developed the international volunteers program
Set up the bases and through hard work between 2003-2006 being the promoter of an US based organization .
Obtaining an award for the good results of our sterilization program at "Gala Societatii Civile"-the biggest contest between NGO' s in Romania !
Thanks to Dogs Trust UK, ROLDA donated to the local veterinary clinic MEDVIOVET Galati a new complete blood analyzer machine,evaluated at over 10,000 Eur.
Local veterinaries were trained in UK about new techniques for suture , fast and secure sterilization.

Protest against Hyundai Company, that encouraged lambs' slaughter during Easter.
ROLDA was the only Romanian organization that protested against Renault Company, when workers from Renault Romanian factory in Mioveni started poisoning dogs from factory' garden.
