We are estimating the number of un-sterilized homeless animals in Galati being around 5,000.
We are making an appeal to all animal lovers willing to be actively involved in our sterilization campaign to volunteer their time, maybe a week's vacation spent at our shelter cottage, to help the Romanian animals and us in this important program!
Education Campaign
ROLDA educational campaigns reach out to all age groups to promote kindness toward all living creatures and compassion and respect for homeless animals as well.

"Help me heal" Campaign
Since 2004 ROLDA offer support to local community ( especially people with low income from Galati ) in need of different treatments for the strays that they occasionally or regularly fed or for the strays kept in people' garden (sometimes, taking care of more dogs than they can afford).
We encourage Galati citizens to address to this local veterinary offices for appointments: VetiMed Clinic ,Crizantemelor Street - Dr.Gingarasu Cornel

ROLDA statistics shows that 98% houses in rural environment keep the dogs chained and more than 65% houses in towns are abusing in the same way dogs' rights to move freely .There are dogs in Romania that are staying a lifetime in chain,some of them are dieing chained...A chained life it's not a real life !
