ROLDA CATTERY

Abandoned or street cats is an increasing problem in our town and in order not to become uncontrollable ,like dogs problem over the years- we must think humane and effective solutions not to make animals suffering in the long run.

Our plans to build a cattery with up to 100 accommodation places will not happen overnight, but it can happen with YOUR help. In order to control efficiently the cats overpopulation, ROLDA encourage locals to go with their cats to our local vet collaborator for free spay/neuter.

In the meantime,we are hoping to find serious commitment and compassionate sponsors to help us achieve our new, important goal- the first cattery in Galati - a safe place for the abused cats that we are rescuing ,in need of veterinary suprevision and medical assistance. Healthy cats survive better on the streets than dogs, this is why the new cattery will temporarely shelter the cats until their full recovery and than, we will advertise them for adoption.

Cat rooms will be made by PVC and glass (spacious,sunny rooms), indoor with isolation unit ,good ventilation and heating system plus an outside area with lots of shelves and places for cats to climb.
