NEW GUIDELINES FOR INTERNATIONAL PET TRANSPORT
UK and Ireland
1. A blood test must be done by an authorized European Union laboratory. This costs about 45EUR per test. Blood sampling should be done about 30 days after vaccination. Blood test results are valid for entry for six months after the date of sampling;
2. Pet passport requirements include that vaccinations and internal de-worming must be done within 48 hours before leaving Romania;
3. There is a transport fee of £170.
If these requirements are met, there are no additional costs, and no quarantine is necessary after the animal reaches Britain.
Norway
1.A blood test must be done by an authorized European Union laboratory. This costs about 45 EUR per test. The test must be performed 120 days after the most recent antil-rabies vaccination.
2. Cost for transport +kennel ,e.g. aprox 6 EUR/kg with Lufthansa.
