SHANNON MCCABE ENDORSES THE ROMANIAN ANIMALS CAUSE

Shannon McCabe is a singer, actress, paranormal TV veteran, writer of paranormal stories, wife to Bruce Kubel, and mother to a 9lb poodle, Rocket.

Shannon is a huge animal lover and does what she can to help local animals in her hometown of Sacramento, CA, as well as the animals living on the streets in Romania.

She has volunteered her help with the SPCA, holding fundraisers and concerts, and is now proud to be on the ROLDA team to help animals overseas.

Shannon has touched upon the entertainment world, not only with singing, but in various TV shows, news segments, and her charity events. She has appeared on a Showtime Television series called Bullsh*t with magician's Penn & Teller, and has appeared on the Living Network in the UK, on the new show, Conversations with a Serial Killer.Shannon is in preproduction for the History Channel’s Monster Quest and Animal Planet’s upcoming series Haunted Animals.

“I became interested in the paranormal, when I was a child, around 10 years of age. I used to imagine that I had a ghost that would move my doll & unicorn collection around. 23 years later I saw a full body apparition at a building in Sacramento, California and it solidified my belief in life after death. I’ve been working in the paranormal field for a very long time and enjoy it very much; it’s never the same experience twice! Ghosts and Ghouls are what I enjoy but what I am passionate about are animals.

I take care of a rescue dog named Sushi that stays with me part time, and my neighbor’s cat, Sammies has moved in, due to the big dog that moved into her house. She lets my husband and I take care of her and make sure her cat food bowl is always full. She screams at us if we let it get below half! And last but certainly not least, there’s Rocket she is not your normal dog. She’s my baby and very special to me. My mom, Wendy, even calls her ‘the grandpoodle’.

I am also very excited to announce that this year’s Vampire Ball (in Sacramento, CA) we’ll be taking up a collection for ROLDA and hope to make lots of money for the animals! Romania- Dracula- Vampire Ball for Halloween- it just makes sense!

I am so honored that ROLDA (Romanian League in Defense of Animals) has selected me to be one of their celebrities to appear on billboards and posters around Romania. The campaign is called Have a Heart for Romanian Animals. They are a wonderful organization that helps animals who have no homes with food, shelter and spaying.
