DC. - Tell us about the best moment since Fiducia has existed. And about the worst.
LM - I remember that after the land was purchased, we started building from the ground the shelter and this was one of the happiest moments because it was full of hope and promises. Full of trust.
The worst moments happen every time I get "reassurance" that you cannot expect too much from most people. They are limited spiritually and as human beings. Rarely people here wish to think longer than for tomorrow and more than just for themselves.

DC - A question that keeps recurring in Romania for the past 20 years: how do you think the growing homeless animal problem should be fixed?

REGHIN, ROMANIA- Snapping photo after photo of the Fundatia Fiducia, I knew the images would be for my own documentation only.
The photos would show only what most people would see: a seemingly haphazard collection of sheds, lean-tos, woodpiles, and conventional doghouses, accommodating an equally haphazard collection of Romanian street mutts.
The photos might show that the dogs were well-fed and happy, at least on the morning of Sunday, March 7, 2010, but only an overview from a helicopter hovering above could reveal the dog-friendly patterns in the apparently random placement of structures that began to impress me just a few minutes into my first of several walk-throughs to verify and further inform my initial impressions.

My name is Ioan Rad and I am from Tg. Mures Romania.
I am very fond of animals , I love especially dogs I have three pets in my house , but I love homeless dogs too. I rescued and looked after strays from my town, I rescued twelve in numbers, to which I have provided kennels and the daily food. A few years ago I met Mrs. Lidia Maier from the shelter " Fiducia" from Reghin, I have a great respect and admiration for her work.

HELP FIDUCIA SHELTER IN REGHIN,MURES

Fiducia is the name of a local foundation registered in Reghin , Mures county by Lidia Maier(now 74 years old) and a group of 32 other founders, which passing years, they gave up helping one by one. Presently there are still 4 dedicated members to save and help the homeless animals at Fiducia.
