REX CLINIC- THE FIRST CHARITABLE CLINIC IN ROMANIA

One of ROLDA long-term goals is to encourage animal-people bond, by helping compassionate citizens to overpass the financial difficulties (hard to be ignored unfortunately in Romania) and be able to properly care their rescued furry protégée.

The veterinary charitable clinic is a new concept among the existent animal clinics from Romania, born because of animal lovers’ needs and financial struggling.

Lack of professionalism and/or ethics conduits when patients are strays(and not clean pets), lack of 24 h functionality and over-night medical assistance when required for emergencies, lack of discounts for strays brought to the clinic by people didn’t afford to cover the vet bills ,but compassionate to save the animal left abandoned in the middle of the road.

ROLDA vet clinic will be built on the Adoption Center premises, it will functioning 24 h/day and there will be a section for free recovering/intensive treatment unit with medical supervision, a surgery room, and laboratory.

ROLDA vet clinic will function from donations and grants; as always we’ll be counting especially on our trustworthy local and international partners, friends and supporters to achieve this project. Therefore, we hope to be able to offer free sterilizations to all the homeless small animals brought to the clinic and low-cost treatments and discounts for pets with owners with low-incomes.

We are hoping to establish powerful networks and media links to promote the social character and humanitarian side of this initiative – an island of hope for animals and humans caring for them.

Some international celebrities signed in support of this project: the artist Colleen Paige, the actress Monica Cruz ,our long-term friend and kind supporter Beatrice Welles (daughter of famous actor Orson Welles) to mention few.

We are hoping that the media coverage and the auction that will be organized at the end of the year will enable us to raise the funds needed to achieve this ambitious but tangible dream!

The total cost of the project is estimated to 375,000 USD, a company based in Bucharest and Mittal Galati will provide the funds to cover 70% of the total cost,if we'll be able to raise the rest of 100,000 USD in the next three years and complete the project.
