photo: Vasile (ROLDA staff) uses special gloves to handle with care a female dog. The dog had puppies and was brought to the vet clinic by her protegee in the hope that no other puppies will born to suffer on the streets.

INTERNATIONAL VETERINARIES STEPS IN TO HELP ROLDA MASS-STERILIZATION CAMPAIGN IN GALATI

Veterinary events in 2010

2-4 vets from Norway will be spending three weeks in spring working with Romanian vets team to do as many sterilizations as possible.

Jackie C. is planning to return to ROLDA in Galati in fall 2010 ,with other 1-2 veterinaries from Australia and UK to mass-spaying dogs from Mittal.

MEET ROLDA WONDERFUL VETERINARY

Our collaboration with DVM C. Gingarasu and VETI-MED, his private clinic -started in May 2006, in one of the most difficult period of our existence.

From the beginning, this vet and his entire team generously found time for our rescued animals, among all the numerous clients they regularly have. They never refused treating our just-rescued strays because of their smell and dirt, as it happens often in other Galati veterinary offices, they never charged us the same as their other clients, taking into account the fact we are a charity and we save homeless, abandoned animals.
