THIS IS HOW ROLDA WORKS IN GALATI TO PREVENT THE BORN OF THOUSAND OF PUPPIES

photo: Vasile (ROLDA staff) uses special gloves to handle with care a female dog. The dog had puppies and was brought to the vet clinic by her protegee in the hope that no other puppies will born to suffer on the streets.

INTERNATIONAL VETERINARIES STEPS IN TO HELP ROLDA MASS-STERILIZATION CAMPAIGN IN GALATI

Your financial or gift-in-kind contribution will keep the sterilization program free for the local community. We remind you that ROLDA is the ONLY charity doing free sterilization in Galati.

Veterinary events in 2010

3 vets from Norway and one vet from Sweden spent three weeks during March/April working with Romanian vets team to prevent the born of countless puppies on the streets in the future.

A group of 4-5 graduating students and vets from UK will be participating to a summer spaying week.

If you are an experienced veterinarian who want to spend a Holiday at ROLDA and help with the sterilization procedures at the vet clinic, we would be happy to hear from you!

When our budget allows, we are covering the flight costs and offer free accomodation at the shelter cottage for one or two vets.

MEET ROLDA WONDERFUL VETERINARY

Our collaboration with DVM C. Gingarasu and VETI-MED, his private clinic -started in May 2006, in one of the most difficult period of our existence.

From the beginning, this vet and his entire team generously found time for our rescued animals, among all the numerous clients they regularly have. They never refused treating our just-rescued strays because of their smell and dirt, as it happens often in other Galati veterinary offices, they never charged us the same as their other clients, taking into account the fact we are a charity and we save homeless, abandoned animals.
