Trailer purchased for international adoptions scheme

(photo: this just-purchased trailer will be used for dogs transportation, having enough space to accommodate 4-6 dogs)

We will soon update the website with a list containing dogs available for international adoptions and we make an appeal to individuals or organizations based in Europe and even USA to contact us if want to work together in sending there SOME of our sheltered animals

Our foundation purpose is not relocating the homeless animals from Romania in other countries , however-we think it's important to give to every creature the chance to live securely, and for most of homeless animals in Romania ,the chances are minimal to find adoptive families here and the conditions of surviving on the streets are critical.

ROLDA priority is spaying/neutering which will prevent in the long run the born of more unwanted strays but we think it is also our duty to give our best for the ones we have in our shelter and deserve a second chance in life!

Please take few minutes to "meet" these wonderful dogs, that can become your lifetime partners:

OACHE male neutered ,1 year old -abandoned on the streets, we rescued him because he was beaten by others dogs and one of his legs was very infected. Oache is very friendly with humans and animals.

BOBO 5 months old , German shepherd mix breed ,extremely energetic and wonderful with humans and other animals.

Important:

For European countries (except Sweden and UK, where there are different regulations regarding animals transportation), we can arrange a transportation scheme, based on the fact ROLDA will cover the transportation costs for the animal to be adopted.

We are just hoping someone will give a new chance to some of our dogs !

New education campaign in local media, 17.03-17.04

ROLDA and its partners, the local newspaper "Viata Libera" and "Arcelor Mittal" Galati - organized a contest addressed to entire local community, to humans inspired by their pets and/or animals they rescued.

Animal lovers were invited to send a brief story (max 30 lines) about how their pet influenced at some point the "writer" life, impressing with their sincere love, loyalty and intelligence or teaching us a lesson about what real commitment and devotion means.

The winners will be selected next week and the best story will be published in the local newspaper. We will offer prizes in goods (pets related products) and cash for the best three stories.

Mittal delegation visiting ROLDA new shelter

Please "meet" the people that became our strays' "guardian angels"; helping us to help not only hundred of homeless, abused animals but also creating a legacy for the coming generations.

The Mittal 'delegation was genuinely interested about the strays and the shelter conditions .

Being impressed by what it is built so far, they assured us of full support in the future to finalize this huge project, which seemed just a "too good to be true" dream .

And we always return to our online greatest allies and friends ,without which nothing from what we accomplished wouldn't been possible ...and our special thanks go this month to our amazing supporters: Patricia, On Shore Foundation, Janice, Joanne, Liz, Ronald, Jill.

Please sign & forward our petition :
