1.Adoption Center 'Project
Special thanks to Mrs.Vasiliu R.for the building plan graphics !
Building ROLDA's Adoption Center -a legacy for the next generations, a major step to solve humanely the animals overpopulation and local community 's related problems.
Built outside Galati, the center will have a veterinary clinic, with free spay/neuter and low cost treatments for homeless animals, a shelter were animals needing long-term treatment will benefit of medical assistance, an education center for local community (e.g. school activities, therapy with animals for orphan kids)
The major contributor for the building of ROLDA's Adoption Center is a multi-national company that want to remain anonymous for the moment. Their generous grant will cover the entire building and the related costs.
Immediately after the building work will be completed, we will need all the support we can get for sheltered animals: food (including special diet food),dogs supplies (bowls, collars, leashes, toys,…)cats supplies ,veterinary equipment & accessories ,shelter furniture, veterinary supplies ,grooming supplies, blankets,…...
Every donated supply means less money spent from our very limited budget.
Thanks to your donations, funds can be redirected to spay/neuter & vaccination, treatments for the thousands homeless animals roaming on Galati streets.
We are making an appeal to individuals, animal organizations, and international companies willing to become our sponsors or partners. Their name and the trademark will be promoted on billboards and our website.
We are still at the very beginning with this project, but every support means so much,as we already done many big ,important steps to make this almost "unreal" project happening!

2. Appeal to international organizations :Romanian puppies needing adoptive family9 puppies, age 2month old ,common breed :vaccinated ,with all veterinary papers o.k.
ROLDA is making an appeal to individuals ,organizations -animal' lovers especially based in Europe to contact us,if they are willing to give a chance to one of these poor souls.
We remind you that one of our cat was successfully adopted in Holland. In the past , another cat went safely to Germany ,other adult dogs and puppies were adopted in Europe and USA .Our adopted animals are all happy , secure and we are receiving updates about their condition.

3.Special appeal
ROLDA receive numerous appeals from people with low income from Galati , in need of different treatments for the strays that they occasionally or regularly fed or even for the strays kept in people' garden (sometimes, people are taking care of more dogs than they can afford).
Raluca from Galati wrote us desperately:
"...a week ago, I found a puppy (one month and a half old) with broken leg ,small,skinny and dirty. I made him a bath and cared him ,I went to two vets and they didn't want to treat him for free. I cannot afford to pay for his treatment .I live into a flat and I cannot care BUMBI (the puppy 's name) any longer. Can you offer him a secure place to be treated properly at your shelter? Can you help with treatment cost? I beg you to help him…. I cannot imagine give him on the streets,to a family at the country ,to keep him in chain and never feed him rightly and eventually let him die hungry and sad ! Please help me!"
We are receiving appeals like this every day, animal' lovers call us or write emails begging us to help them . We cannot refuse and try to do our best to save as many furry friends as we possibly can.
Our new veterinary' tariffs are the smallest from Galati for us , he is making us discounts and offer extra-time to help, but all the treatments and spay/neuter cost add up and we need funds to help us keep going!

4. ROLDA billboard on Galati streets
As a part of ROLDA' s education campaign ,the billboard message is simple, created to gagne people'attention and reach their hearts:

4. Flash News1.Galati: 4 local groups for animals protection(ROLDA Foundation, Help Labus, Liga Necuvantatoarelor and ProAnima Association) signed an agreement to join forces against officials' continuous abuses .
Since the agreement was signed we've sent numerous letters to local officials.
The local officials' response to our latest letter assured the local animal'lovers, among other things that:
# Especially, in the second pound the strays'situation is "under control", ECOSAL having a collaboration contract with two local veterinaries: Dr. I. GHEORGHITA (whom also is working for a US charity) and Dr. Stefan. These two vets are the direct responsible of the strays "welfare" in the authorities pounds.
# Building improvements will be made to the second pound.
All four local organizations will continue the protest against the dogs'abuses , we will organize a meeting where we already asked for the presence of an official representant of Veterinary Direction Galati ,the two local veterinaries involved in the second pound'situation and a City Hall representant.
