MERRITT CLIFTON SCORED ROLDA SHELTER THE BEST IN EAST EUROPE

Coming for the second time after 6 years in Romania and visiting 6 shelters in Romania, Merritt Clifton scored 84 points(from a total of 100 possible) for one of the ROLDA shelter,which remains the top-rated shelter in East Europe.

DONY & BOSS WON 2ND PRIZE AT HSUS/HSI PHOTO CONTEST

Dony and Boss are my brave dogs subscribed to HSUS/HSI photo contest with the hope to promote Romanian animals and to raise funding for the sterilization program.

At the end of the competition, they won the second prize which made of course their "mom" really happy and proud of them!

COLLEEN PAIGE AND LOVE HAS NO BORDER PROGRAM

Our supporter Colleen Paige is the Romanian animals ambassador in USA.She is not only helping Romanian animals with her image but she became an active voice and sponsored some articles and advertising Romanian animals in her county.

Recently the new program she initiated named Love has No Border joined an important number of national and international charities in a common effort to promote internationally animals available for adoption.

Colleen kindly chosen ROLDA as the only Romanian charity as part of this impressive unique program.

CONFERENCE ORGANIZED FOR ROLDA AND ROMANIAN ANIMALS IN SWITZERLAND SPONSORED BY HILL'S

On 19 February in a very rainy cold evening animal lovers from Monthey, Switzerland join together to hear about Romanian animals problem and ROLDA.

The conference is the first event in history organized for a single Romanian charity and brought passionate animal supporters, even some local sponsors thanks to the huge efforts that our friend Marie made to attract people, including a very famous Suisse activist- Lolita M., the Miss Universe in ‘82 ,that is well-known all over the country for her campaigns to help animals Worldwide.

Special thanks goes to Marie and her family,Angela (for all support and her generous donation),Lolita ,Le Chien Swisse and Hill’s for the donation of products received to be sold at the conference event.

83 healthy dogs killed by shooting last Wednesday in Reghin

This dog was shot but miraculously was saved because he was transported immediatly at a good veterinary in Tg Mures,the closest big town from Reghin.
Hunters periodically kill by shooting dogs in Reghin despite this action being illegal.

SUPER SPAY CAMPAIGN CONTINUES IN MARCH MONTH IN GALATI

Even if the grant generously received from Brigitte Bardot Foundation almost finished, we are confident that our compassionate supporters will not let down Galati animals in need and funds will continue to be raised to sustain the sterilization campaign. Thank you for your kind support!

LITTLE DRACULA ADOPTED BY PAUL AND MARY LOU IN FLORIDA

During a short bussiness trip in Romania, visiting ROLDA shelters and seeing our current work- Paul Siegel felt in love of a rescued puppy which he named Little Dracula and which he decided immediatly to take home to his other 4 adult dogs.
