Built in 2003, the first ROLDA shelter is located 7 km outside Galati and was conceived to be an answer to the local homeless animals problem; a problem severely increasing in the past years.
Our shelter welcomes strays in desperate need of veterinary assistance and care (homeless animals hit by cars, with broken legs, skin diseases, infected injuries, and other ailments).
Emergency needs includes fence replacement for running spaces and between kennels , new roof for shelter cottage and new roof for paddocks.
